John Speed (1552-1629) was a renowned English cartographer who published an atlas called "The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine".
His maps were of high quality and made using up-to-date sources; giving them a reputation for being among the best county maps - attractive and decorative.

We've taken the county maps from the early 1600s and created a range of historical country map jigsaw puzzles.
